Dysport is a simple, effective, non-surgical treatment that works by relaxing facial muscles, thereby reducing and smoothing away frown-lines and wrinkles. Dysport, like Botox Cosmetic® is a protein extracted from the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum.
Is Dysport New?

Dysport is distributed in the United States by Medicis, the manufacturers of the revolutionary Restylane dermal filler. Is Dysport Better Than Botox?
This topic is widely debated and heavily biased due to most comparative cosmetic studies being partially or fully funded by manufacturers of Botox (Allergan) and Dysport (Ipsen/Medicis). Many cosmetic physicians outside the U.S. who have used Dysport report greater longevity when compared to Botox.
How does Dysport work?
Dysport blocks impulses from the nerve to the facial muscles that are related to expression lines. Dysport relaxes the muscles so they do not contract. After treatment, the overlying skin becomes smooth and unwrinkled, while the untreated facial muscles contract in a normal fashion, allowing normal facial expression to be unaffected.

For smoothing wrinkles, sculpting lips, and improving other facial features, Restylane injections are a growing favorite. Approved by the FDA in December 2003, Restylane can produce positive results on facial wrinkles, particularly around the mouth and nose. Another benefit is the long-lasting results, as the effects of Restylane treatments can last six months or more.
Restylane injections are administered at our Medspa or at RejuveRX mobile events, typically for patients aged 30 to 60. It is most often performed with local anesthesia, especially if the lip is being treated. Depending upon the extent of the treatment, the procedure can take from a few minutes up to 30 minutes. Patients return home shortly after the procedure.
Restylane is a clear liquid gel, a non-animal-based hyaluronic acid (a natural sugar compound).

If you are suffering with inadequate eyelash growth then you may want to consider Latisse. Latisse lengthens, thickens and darkens eyelashes. It is manufactured by Allergan, the same company that markets Botox.
Latisse-enhanced lashes may be for you if you are unhappy with the length, thickness and color of your lashes.
